Clawdaddy's Boiling Bags!

Clawdaddy celebrated the Fourth of July with freedom on clawing our food and experiencing Claw-getherness or a chance for family and friends to bond through food.

I had a wonderful time celebrating my freedom on eating seafood last July 4 at Clawdaddy’s BGC together with some friends. We clawed on their newest hit Clawdaddy’s Boiling Bag – a mixed of their famous seafoods in a bag! (Plastic bag, actually) But you’d be really surprise with the sumptuous treat inside! But before I tell you the main course, let me start first with some appetizing dishes.

We started with some of the best appetizers!

A great way actually to prepare your tummy for a seafood fest.

I enjoyed the chicken wings! Their version of spicy buffalo wings is so perfect!

The salad is a very healthy replacement for rice.

Then came what we’ve all been waiting for, the BOILING BAGS! 
We tried two flavors of their Boiling Bags:

SEAFOOD BOIL IN A BAG (Seafood Boil Spice) P1495
The seafood feast inside this bag consists of Crabs (ofcourse), fresh water prawns, South Pacific clams (first time to hear this) green mussels, Manila clams, Andouille sausage, potatoes and corn. The aroma of the spice greeted our nose the instant the bag opened. As the name suggest, the seafoods inside are all spicy but it really is delicious.  The herbs and spices present gave the dish a kick of it’s own.

The second bag came in too soon and we found ourselves eager again for the opening of the second bag.

SEAFOOD BOIL IN A BAG (Garlic Butter) P1495 

The Garlic Butter is a probably the lightest flavor of the seafood boil in a bag. The same seafood is found here but their version is a bit different since, this is not spicy like the first one.

The dessert came in last and it was as healthy as the appetizer and main course.

Who said eating seafood is messy? Here in Clawdaddy it's not a messy experience. They provide each diner with there own bib and a handy bucket right in the middle of the table to throw cobs of corn and shells.
