Swine Time at The Flying Pig

This Lenten Season, people are expected to fast and veer away from meat. This post will surely make you excited to end the Lenten week and feast and enjoy on meat once again. Hehehe!

I was invited to an all meat dish dinner at The Flying Pig in Eastwood. I first saw the place in Eastwood but I didn't get the chance to eat there. When I got the invite, I was so excited to attend, but it didn’t show because I was late. Haha!

The Flying Pig is a very unique place that caters to all meat (pork specifically) lovers. We were all carnivores at that moment. The place looks so inviting. The interior is full of pig painting in different kinds of colors. Even the menu is very colorful!

Pasta, Coffee and Fruit Blends at Californiaberry!

Californiaberry, the only frozen yogurt chain here in the Philippines that guarantees 100% nonfat yogurt. Others contain atleast 2% fat. First thing to come to mind whenever you hear a yogurt house is of course yogurt. I am excited to share with you that Californiaberry, being a yogurt house offers more than just nonfat yogurts.

California Berry's Ice Ice Baby

Mexican Kitchen: More than Burritos and Tacos

I am excited to tell you that I have been to Mexico for one night, when I tried the dishes that was offered at B&T Mexican Kitchen. The Mexican Cuisine for me and the family is not a usual place to hang out and have dinner with. For one we have this thinking that all mexican food is spicy and has weird taste. But now, I have told and proven them that it's not.

The place is cozy and perfect for just hanging out and just stopping by for a quick snack. I love the colors inside and the interior is simple yet friendly. The mirror in front of the store gives you quick access to view the inside of the store.

Cheese Cakes and Coffee: Bag of Beans

I have been to Tagaytay a lot of times already and I always pass by Bag of Beans, we stop by to buy bread and pies a couple of times but never really got the time to sit and relax and enjoy what the place has to offer. I finally got the chance to try what Bag of Beans has to offer, other than their bread and pies.

The quaint looking facade invites people to come in and have experience what the Bag has to offer. When you enter thru the front door, get ready to feast your eyes and nose thru the wide array of breads and pies.

Republic Of Cavite - A Taste of History

Filipino Food is on my top list of cuisine that never fails to comfort me. If you were to ask me, I would rather go home and eat my fave dinuguan or hot soup of sinigang than lavish myself in a posh restaurant or buffet. I recently got invited to taste the Caviteño's cuisine and the dishes that they are most proud of.

We visited Republic of Cavite, a restaurant inspired by the history of Cavite. The owner, Mrs. Cecilia Del Rosario Pacumio or best know as Mama Cely offers authentic Caviteño's cuisine inherited from the family like Adobong Caviteño, Onde Onde, Paborito ni Emilio, Lihim ni Lola, Republic Buchi and Lihim ni Aguinaldo. The half day did not only fill our minds with new things about Cavite, but also our tummies for the rich taste of Cavite.
